Our Review
Prestige are well-known in terms of kitchen appliances, so we were definitely expecting good things from this particular multi cooker. The first thing that we’d like to talk about is the appearance of this particular model. It is not exactly what we’d expect in terms of a multi cooker. However, its different design definitely doesn’t take away from the effectiveness of it.
From the front of the multi cooker, you will see a rubber control pad. This control pad will allow you to control the mode that you would like to use, the temperature, and also the sear setting for searing different cuts of meat. The thing that we really liked about the control pad is that it is so user friendly. It took us a matter of minutes to figure everything out and choose the settings that we wanted.
When it comes to the results of cooking different things, we were actually really impressed considering the compact size of this multi cooker. We were able to cook a fry up completely from scratch with no issues at all. As well as this, we were also able to cook a beef stew in a larger quantity. The flavours created were fantastic and we were very impressed.
One of the things that we really liked about this multi cooker is that it has a triple layer nonstick coating. The good thing about this is that it means that you can use much less oil, meaning you are able to cook healthier meals. We also found cleaning the multi cooker no problem at all because of this coating, the debris simply slid right off when immersed in water.
Another thing that we were really pleased with is the fact that this particular multi cooker would be really well suited to a single person. More often than not, single people will find that unless they are batch cooking, there is simply too much food produced by cooking in a multi cooker. Because this particular model is much smaller than the typical 5 litre capacity multi cookers, you are able to cook in much smaller portions.
Overall, we have to say that for a budget multi cooker that is very small, we were really pleased with the results of this one. If you aren’t planning on doing much batch cooking, or you are only cooking for one, then this particular model would be a great option to consider.
